Henderson Farm Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Agricultural Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock and crops.
Key Responsibilities- Animal Care: Perform animal grooming activities, track and report on current feed inventory, and maintain livestock performance records.
- Crop Management: Fertilize and spray crops, harvest crops, and provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting.
- Maintenance and Repair: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and perform general farm duties.
- Record Keeping: Maintain quality control and production records, and write daily basic progress reports.
- Health and Safety: Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry, and assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
Henderson Farm Ltd. is a rural farm located in a picturesque area. The work environment is physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and have a strong attention to detail.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
