About the Role

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead the decommissioning process for the Cloud Acceleration Program. This is a critical role that requires exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute detailed decommissioning plans and schedules, considering constraints such as project timelines, resource requirements, and potential risk.
  • Partner with project teams, including internal and external stakeholders, to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Closely collaborate with the Senior Manager, Migration Lead to ensure plans are aligned and tracks program benefits to capture value as hardware/software is no longer used.
  • Work with the team to oversee decommissioning roadmap, understand key business and technical issues that impact the migration plan, and adjust plans to support decommissioning activities.
  • Measure and monitor progress to ensure decommissioning plans are delivered on-time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience.
  • Exceptional project management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience managing technology projects.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a proven track record in managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.
