Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Side Asset Management Ltd. to assist with our Real Estate and Rail divisions.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate financial accounting and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to established time frames and company and professional standards.
  • Prepare reconciliations, entries, and year-end files for external review, and provide support to the business unit for ad-hoc requests and financial analysis.
  • Review the work of the finance team to ensure delegated work is timely, accurate, and delivered on schedule.
  • Perform cash management and reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other accounting analyses as requested.
Requirements
  • Exceptional data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in various software programs, including Sage 50 and Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience required.
  • A strategic mindset.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
