SW Event Technology is seeking a skilled Lead Lighting and Audio Technician to join our team in the BC Interior. As a key member of our event services team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional event experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and dismantle AV equipment for small to large-scale productions
  • Specialize in lighting and audio engineering, ensuring seamless event execution
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly
  • Liaise with internal teams to develop solutions for audio/video/lighting configurations
  • Provide input on technical equipment purchases and assist in training junior technicians
  • Load and unload equipment from trucks or trailers, and operate company vehicles
  • Assist with maintenance of video equipment and maintain a safe working environment
  • Complete required paperwork and data entry in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a lead lighting or audio technician (FOH)
  • 1+ years of experience supervising event technicians
  • Experience programming and operating lighting or audio consoles
  • Understanding of current technologies, signal flow, and networking
  • Diploma in AV technical education preferred
  • Valid class 5 BC driver's license or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be available outside of regular business hours
