Nephrologist Position

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nephrologist to join our team at Fraser Health. As a member of our Nephrology group, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our clinical services.
About the RoleThis is a 0.5 FTE Clinical Nephrologist position, with the opportunity to become a full-time role in the future. You will be responsible for providing coverage across all of Fraser Health in outpatient clinics, dialysis units, and inpatient services. Your clinical work will be centered at Surrey Memorial Hospital, with the possibility of expanding to other sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services in all areas of nephrology, including peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, chronic kidney disease management, and inpatient care.
- Be proficient in basic procedural skills such as hemodialysis line insertions.
- Participate in teaching and clinical leadership in at least one of the program areas.
- Collaborate with the Nephrology group to ensure seamless coverage and patient care.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- CMPA membership and CPSBC eligibility for full licensure.
- Experience in nephrology subspecialty areas, with a strong focus on patient care and clinical leadership.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
