We are currently in search of a Building Automation Technician to enhance our team.
Role Objective: The Building Automation Technician plays a crucial role in the successful commissioning and effective implementation of new automation systems, alongside the troubleshooting and enhancement of existing setups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop programming for automation systems, servers, and user interfaces.
- Facilitate the integration of third-party systems into the primary platform.
- Oversee the commissioning and rollout of building automation systems.
- Manage the logistics of delivering building automation systems.
- Conduct operational training sessions for clients.
- Diagnose issues and update current systems as necessary.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- DEC in Building Mechanics, Electronics, or Instrumentation and Control Technician
- Hands-on experience with building automation system design
- Proficiency in programming digital controllers
- Familiarity with open communication protocols and systems integration
- Technical skills in commissioning, verification, calibration, and preventive maintenance of automated systems
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent communication abilities
