Position Overview

The role of the Assistant Transportation Manager at Shipload Transportation involves overseeing various aspects of logistics and transportation operations. This position is essential for ensuring efficient and compliant transport processes.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage daily logistics operations effectively.
  • Adapt schedules and policies in response to operational changes.
  • Compile and present reports for upper management review.
  • Recruit and train new personnel as needed.
  • Oversee financial management and budgeting for transportation activities.
  • Coordinate shipping documentation and monitor the movement of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations.
  • Develop and enforce policies for the safe transportation and storage of goods.
  • Negotiate service contracts and secure favorable rates.
  • Supervise the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and shipments.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Working Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week
