Mikes Warehouse Supplies Ltd is seeking a skilled Pallet Rack Installer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our warehouse storage systems.
Key Responsibilities- Install and repair exterior and interior prefabricated products, ensuring high-quality and efficient storage solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation.
- Operate hand and power tools, as well as heavy machinery, such as forklifts and scaffolding equipment.
- Work at heights, using fall protection equipment and following safety protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and meet productivity targets.
- Document and prepare invoices and work orders, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Working at heights training, First Aid Certificate, and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
- Forklift experience and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Permanent full-time position with 30 to 40 hours per week.
