Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Roll-Off Truck: Safely drive a roll-off truck to deliver goods to our clients, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and handled.
  • Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure that it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Communicate with dispatch to receive and relay information regarding delivery schedules, traffic updates, and other important information.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced transportation environment, with frequent exposure to changing weather conditions.
