The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Manager III, Social Services Case Management. This position will be responsible for overseeing the management of child protective services and in-home case management programs.
Key Responsibilities- Assess client needs and develop individualized plans to address their social, economic, and health problems.
- Counsel and assist clients in accessing community resources and services.
- Conduct face-to-face interviews to assess progress and provide guidance to clients.
- Make referrals and coordinate services with community partners to ensure comprehensive support.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports to track client progress and program effectiveness.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in social work, human services, or a related field.
- Considerable experience in local agency social work, with a strong understanding of child abuse and neglect policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, with a strong commitment to collaboration and communication.
