Job Title: Senior Risk Management Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Management Consultant to join our team at Apex Systems. As a Senior Risk Management Consultant, you will be responsible for providing operational risk subject matter expertise in the design, development, management, and implementation of risk management programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational risk subject matter expertise in the design, development, management, and implementation of risk management programs.
  • Support large outsourcing projects in process design, ensuring sufficient controls are in place while ensuring overall project goals are met.
  • Work across multiple impacted businesses across front-office to back-office activities, including process risk, data risk, and cyber risk.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design, develop, and implement risk management programs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior management on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to employees on risk management best practices.
  • Monitor and report on risk management metrics and key performance indicators.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent with 5 years+ experience in an operational risk or related function, or equivalent business experience.
  • Knowledge of wealth management products, services, and processes.
  • Project management experience.
  • Verbal and written communication skills – In-depth.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills – In-depth.
