About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Spectrum Building Services Co Inc. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balance, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
