About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Investment Analyst to join our team at Farm Credit Canada. As a key member of our investment team, you will play a critical role in helping us operate our capital investment programs in line with policy, strategy, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with governance and investment policies, reviewing statements and reports from fund managers, partners, and companies.
  • Process transactions related to capital calls, distributions, and new investments, preparing and enhancing reporting for oversight committees.
  • Conduct due diligence, monitor fund performance, and prepare new investment business proposals.
  • Develop and maintain related policies, supplemental reporting, and governance information.
  • Build relationships with external partners, collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics, with at least three years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • In-depth understanding of investment or financial management, with knowledge of the venture capital industry and the Canadian agriculture investment ecosystem.
  • Enrolment in or completion of a professional designation is an asset.
