Role Overview

The DevOps team is tasked with the development and maintenance of various tools and systems aimed at automating continuous delivery and deployment processes. Additionally, the team is responsible for creating hosting solutions for our clients on the Azure cloud platform.

You will be part of an inquisitive and bold team that enjoys pushing boundaries. We promote teamwork while integrating Agile/SCRUM methodologies and a touch of creative innovation.

GIRO is embarking on a transformation towards DevOps. As a Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing automation tools aligned with a "Cloud First" strategy, acting as a catalyst for technological change. This transition presents significant challenges, opportunities for innovative design, and a chance to make a tangible impact on the organization.

Your Interests Include:

  • Engaging in technological transformation (DevOps) and executing large-scale projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing a deployment and management system for Azure infrastructure to support various products and initiatives.
  • Creating a deployment system on the Azure cloud for GIRO's offerings.
  • Optimizing cloud resource utilization (metering, auto-scaling, resilience, native cloud services).

Required Qualifications:

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in creating and managing deployment automation pipelines, ensuring process reliability and security.
  • Expertise in networking and managing Windows environments, Active Directory, and Group Policies within an Azure context.
  • Familiarity with essential Azure services, including but not limited to: VMs, Storage accounts, cloud networking, WAF, AVD, Disaster Recovery, VNET, Active Directory, and other components necessary for effective cloud operations.
  • Proficient with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, advanced Shell scripting (PowerShell, bash, etc.), YAML, and JSON for orchestrating, automating, and managing infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of databases from a deployment perspective.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture patterns.
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes.
  • Comfort with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
