About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at Weld O Canada Inc. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal plates and sections to form structures, as well as welding or bolting sections together.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Assemble and fit metal plates and sections to form structures, using various techniques and tools.
  • Weld or bolt sections together to create strong and durable structures.
  • Construct patterns and templates to aid in the fabrication process.
  • Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in metal fabrication.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a variety of settings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Metal Fabricator Trade Certification.
  • Experience working with various metal types and fabrication techniques.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the metal fabrication industry.
Work Environment

As a Metal Fabricator at Weld O Canada Inc, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of skilled professionals to deliver high-quality products. You will be required to work in various locations, including our fabrication shop and on-site at client locations.
