Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Pro Vita Care Management.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and ensure infection control
  • Conduct specimen collection and monitor nutritional intake
  • Provide technical assistance to surgeons and provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care
  • Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • Monitor patients' progress and evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
