As a Cashier at Jasper Gifts, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include managing transactions and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Transaction Management: Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Payment Processing: Handle various forms of payment including cash, checks, and credit/debit cards.
- Item Scanning: Ensure all items are scanned and processed correctly.
- Sales Calculation: Tabulate total payments for goods or services rendered.
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
- Inventory Management: Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized counter area.
- Promotional Participation: Engage in promotional activities to enhance customer experience.
- Age Verification: Verify customer age for restricted items such as lottery tickets and alcohol.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Willingness to learn; training will be provided.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English proficiency is required.
