About the Role

Aurora Marble & Granite Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to ensure accurate production
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance
  • Set up and adjust production machinery to meet quality and productivity standards
  • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports to ensure quality control
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player
  • Quick learner with ability to adapt to new technologies and processes
Work Environment

Aurora Marble & Granite Inc. is a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a CNC Machinist, you will be working in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.
