Job Overview

NS Kular Trucking Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service while efficiently transporting goods.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of driving experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and modify routes based on real-time conditions using advanced navigation tools to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
  • Operate specialized trucks for transporting various goods.
  • Manage loading and unloading of cargo safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle, including tires, lights, and brakes, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order.
  • Perform necessary maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, driving hours, distances traveled, and fuel usage.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all transported goods.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Must hold a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence for semi-trailer trucks.
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence for smaller vehicles is also required.
Transportation Experience
  • Experience in international, local, long-haul, and short-haul transportation is an asset.
Work Conditions
  • Must be willing to travel for extended periods and overnight trips.
  • Ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Position requires prolonged sitting.
Personal Attributes
  • Strong judgment and organizational skills.
  • Reliability and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
