Job Summary

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice, Competency Profile for Licensed Practical Nurses in Manitoba, and Code of Ethics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

This is a relief position, working variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
