Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at SRK Weeping Tile & Slinger Services. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance
  • Load and unload goods, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure the safety and security of cargo
  • Accurately maintain driver logbooks, inspection reports, and accident or incident reports
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • Provincial/territorial, regional, and short-haul transportation experience
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Strong attention to detail, judgement, and organizational skills
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-50 hour workweek. The work environment is varied, with opportunities to work in different locations and with a range of equipment.
