Nurse Practitioner

Nova Scotia Health is seeking highly motivated and dedicated graduate practical nurses to join our team. As a graduate practical nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of nursing practice.
The successful candidate will have recently completed a practical nursing program and be eligible for licensure with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses. They will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a high-stress environment, and have a strong commitment to providing patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care independently to patients with an established plan of care
- Apply nursing knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills consistent with educational preparation
- Contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the unit/program/specialty
- Assess patient needs and provide nursing interventions within their scope of practice
