Senior Data Engineer Lead

Maserati of San Diego is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer Lead to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced data pipelines using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines on cloud platforms, leveraging AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, and Redshift.
  • Work with large volumes of data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Develop ETL processes using Python and SQL, and utilize AWS services for data processing and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and manage cloud-based solutions, integrating CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.
  • Utilize scheduling frameworks like Airflow and AWS Step Functions to automate data processing and workflows.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in data engineering, particularly with AWS and Python.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborative work and effective team leadership.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and IAM.
  • Experience with ETL development, data cleansing, and validation.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration and scheduling frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and data warehousing.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
