About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Long Term Care Aide to join our team at Residence Aventure Inc. As a Long Term Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their personal hygiene and dignity are maintained.
  • Meal Service: Serve meal trays and feed patients, promoting a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Mobility and Transfers: Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds and maintain patients' rooms, creating a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Supervision and Support: Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide emotional support, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring a smooth operation of our care services.
  • Communication: Answer call signals to determine patients' needs, responding promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Availability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
