Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Public Health Professor to join our faculty at the University of Manitoba. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, conducting research in the field of public health, and contributing to the development of our academic programs.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students in public health courses, including epidemiology, biostatistics, and health education.
  • Conduct research in public health, including the development of research proposals, data collection and analysis, and the dissemination of research findings.
  • Develop and implement academic programs in public health, including curriculum development and program evaluation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement research projects and academic programs.
  • Supervise graduate students and provide guidance on research projects and academic pursuits.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Public Health or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring students in public health courses.
  • Experience in conducting research in public health, including the development of research proposals, data collection and analysis, and the dissemination of research findings.
  • Experience in developing and implementing academic programs in public health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced academic environment, with a focus on teaching, research, and service. The position will involve working with students, faculty, and staff, and will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Language
