Job Summary

The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly skilled Policy and Planning Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on policy development, analysis, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and analyze policy briefs, reports, and strategic plans to inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with senior management and departmental staff to coordinate policy initiatives and activities
  • Provide expertise on government legislation, regulations, and policies, as well as the political, social, and economic context of the Northwest Territories
  • Conduct research and analysis to support policy development and implementation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community governments and other government departments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as public administration, political science, policy studies, or a related field, and two years of related experience.
