About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at 1132151 B.C. LTD. as a key member of our hospitality staff.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Housekeeping: Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, restocking linens, and replenishing amenities.
- Laundry and Linen Management: Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry, as well as manage linen inventory.
- Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items, ensuring they are returned to their rightful owners.
- Supply Management: Restock guest rooms with essentials, such as toiletries and towels.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping staff to ensure efficient room cleaning and maintenance.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
- Personal Qualities: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, reliability, and a team player attitude.
- Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
- Assist with foreign credential recognition.
- Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
- Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees.
- Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
- Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
