Pharmacoeconomic Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacoeconomic Expert to join our team at Express Scripts Canada. As a key member of our Clinical Services team, you will play a pivotal role in providing pharmacoeconomic expertise to optimize pharmacy benefit management products from both clinical and economic perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pharmacoeconomic analyses and develop models to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of pharmaceutical products.
• Collaborate with colleagues to review and evaluate pharmaceutical products for inclusion in formularies and benefit management programs.
• Monitor market trends, drug pricing, and healthcare policies to assess potential impact on PBM cost containment strategies.
• Develop and maintain pharmacoeconomic models and analyze claims data to generate meaningful insights.
• Direct the activities of a value assessment committee, leading meetings, gathering information, analyzing data, and creating processes.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in Health Economics, Pharmacoeconomics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in conducting pharmacoeconomic analyses within the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare consulting, or at a PBM.
• Strong analytical skills with various pharmacoeconomic methodologies, including proficiency in data analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
