Responsibilities

The Framer-Carpenter will be responsible for:

  • Estimating labor and material costs
  • Interpreting blueprints and sketches to determine project requirements
  • Preparing layouts in accordance with building codes
  • Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
  • Constructing foundations, installing floor beams, and erecting walls and roofs
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, and other fixtures
  • Coordinating and scheduling work on-site
  • Supervising a small team of workers
  • Maintaining and renovating residential and commercial structures
Supervision

Supervisory responsibilities will include overseeing a team of 3-4 workers.

Skills and Equipment

Candidates should be proficient with:

  • Hand tools and safety equipment
  • Valid driver's license for transportation
Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
