Qualifications

  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a related field
Work Environment

The role involves working in dusty conditions, primarily in:

  • Construction sites
  • Maintenance projects
  • Repair operations
  • Commercial buildings
  • Residential properties
Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the appropriate type of insulation needed for various applications
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to specified dimensions using both hand and power tools
  • Apply insulation using various methods including spraying, blowing, and taping
  • Fit insulation around structural obstructions and within joists and studs
  • Install vapor barriers and fire-resistant materials
  • Oversee and guide junior workers in insulation tasks
  • Apply waterproofing cement or similar materials over insulation
  • Fabricate and install removable insulation pads and covers
  • Assemble and dismantle scaffolding and rigging equipment as needed
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to ensure accurate installation
