About the Position
As an Investment and Retirement Planning Specialist, you will play a crucial role within the branch sales team, contributing to the overall success by achieving and surpassing set deposit and investment sales targets through effective management of your designated customer portfolio. Your main responsibility will be to establish and enhance investment and primary banking relationships with both existing clients and those referred by branch associates.

- Exhibit a strong passion for financial sales while providing trusted financial guidance to clients on intricate investment and retirement strategies.
- Be driven by results, proactively identifying customer needs and attentively listening to their goals.
- Conduct thorough assessments for assigned clients, including retirement strategies, wealth growth, and estate planning, utilizing your financial planning expertise to devise tailored financial strategies and solutions.
- Engage actively with clients, offering relevant insights and expert advice.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and partners.
- Build and nurture relationships, focusing on delivering an exceptional client experience and fostering long-term connections with existing clients.
Do You Have the Skills to Succeed in This Role? We would be excited to work with you if you possess:
- A completed CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or an equivalent recognized by the bank).
- A minimum of three years of experience in financial planning and investment sales.
- Proven sales management experience and the capability to promote Scotiabank.
- The ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners.
