Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the industrial equipment technician in maintaining and repairing equipment, as well as performing daily production tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of production equipment;
- Support the industrial equipment technician in performing routine maintenance tasks;
- Replace the industrial equipment technician during absences and vacations;
- Contribute to the diagnosis and repair of equipment malfunctions;
- Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement;
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks;
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the production area;
- Aid in the receipt and shipment of ingredients and finished products;
- Collaborate with the cleaning and sanitation department;
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Industrial Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field;
- 2 years of experience in a related field;
- Fluency in French (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of food industry hygiene and sanitation standards;
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to develop positive relationships with colleagues;
- Ability to balance productivity and quality standards;
- Discretion and confidentiality.
