Job Title: Personal Caregiver Home Support

Job Summary:

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide exceptional care and support to clients in their own homes. As a PSW, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, promoting their independence, and providing a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily bowel routine and personal care to clients
  • Offer companionship and build meaningful relationships with clients
  • Assist with activities of daily living, homemaking, meal preparation, and laundry
  • Adjust to clients' home environments and provide flexible care

Requirements:

  • Experience with bowel routine and personal care
  • Dedication to providing high-quality care services to clients
  • Availability for split shifts (morning and evening)
  • Reliable mode of transportation and willingness to drive to rural areas
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Completion of a formal, accredited caregiver training program or equivalent education and experience
