Your Role:
In alignment with our Deep Sector initiative's growth, FactSet seeks a Product/Research Manager for Metals & Mining to enhance our offerings in this domain. The Metals & Mining team is dedicated to creating and delivering products and analyses that cater to our primary user groups within the mining sector.
Reporting to the Head of Metals & Mining, you will oversee content and product management, focusing on specific sub-sectors and key metals. Your expertise in detailed mining datasets and modeling fundamentals will be crucial in guiding the development and delivery of our products. You will also spearhead idea generation, research initiatives, and thought leadership within the Metals & Mining field.
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to synchronize data collection, research, and analytics related to Metals & Mining.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis, building quantitative models that showcase the value of FactSet's Metals & Mining offerings.
- Lead thought leadership initiatives related to Metals & Mining, both internally and in client interactions.
- Work closely with other product leaders and thought leadership teams to create cross-sector content.
- Engage directly with clients, particularly high-value accounts, to present research findings and gather feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in mining engineering or geology.
- Background in mining or resource sectors.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Metals & Mining industry and capital markets.
- Proven experience in product and content development and management.
- Strong quantitative skills complemented by qualitative reasoning.
- Deep understanding of client workflows and FactSet's client demographics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning, and project management abilities.
- Outstanding collaboration, organizational, and communication skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic perspective.
- Self-motivated with the ability to operate with minimal supervision.
