Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychometrist to join our team at the Interior Health Authority. This is a part-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and score established tests of psychological and neuropsychological function to adult and pediatric patients.
  • Summarize results and present them to psychologists and neuropsychologists.
  • Maintain patient files and records, and keep track of workload statistics.
  • Plan revisions and expansions of existing test batteries in consultation with psychologists and neuropsychologists.
  • Maintain a library of test manuals, norms, and relevant literature.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of patients being investigated, and provide physical and psychological support as needed.
  • Attend hospital meetings and demonstrate testing procedures to medical staff and students as required.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Clinical Psychometrist or in a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of psychological testing procedures and protocols.
