Job Title: Building Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Building Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Stranville Living Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Building Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of cleaning and maintenance staff, ensuring that all sites and facilities are safe and clean. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning and maintenance staff
  • Inspect sites and facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments
  • Establish work schedules
Work Environment:

The Building Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor will work in a variety of locations, including offices, warehouses, and other facilities. The work environment will be fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
