Job Summary

Cold Iron Truck Center Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Heavy Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and safety.
  • Manage Cargo and Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation, including accident or incident reports, driver logbooks, and maintenance and repair reports.
  • Communicate Effectively: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, and use cellular phones and other communication devices to relay information to central dispatch and receive instructions.
  • Ensure Safety and Security: Maintain a valid driver's license, undergo regular driving record checks, and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work in a Team Environment: Collaborate with other drivers and team members to achieve company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment.
