Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting expectations.
- Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and manage inventory to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Ensure Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and that all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and work to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Manage Records and Reports: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Leadership and Management Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in the food service industry.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Education and Certifications: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, and any relevant certifications or training in food safety and sanitation.
