About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at JAGBRING CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist in the installation and maintenance of landscapes, gardens, and outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Work alongside experienced landscapers to install and maintain various landscape features, including gardens, patios, and walkways.
  • Tie and Secure Plants: Ensure plants and trees are securely tied and staked to prevent damage and promote healthy growth.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Regularly inspect and maintain gardens, parks, and other outdoor spaces to ensure they remain tidy and well-manicured.
  • Cut Grass: Operate lawn mowers and other equipment to maintain grassy areas, including lawns, parks, and sports fields.
  • Rake and Collect Refuse: Remove debris, leaves, and other waste from outdoor spaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Remove Litter and Garbage: Regularly inspect and remove litter and garbage from outdoor spaces to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist in the transportation and application of topsoil, mulch, and other materials to outdoor spaces.
  • Lay Sod or Seed: Assist in the installation of new lawns, including laying sod and seeding.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Assist in the planting of flowers, shrubs, and trees in outdoor spaces.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Assist in the application of fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Dig Cemetery Graves: Assist in the excavation of graves in cemeteries and other outdoor spaces.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Assist in the watering and maintenance of plants, lawns, and gardens.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Operate and maintain equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Under Pressure: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high expectations.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, including mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and weeding gardens.
  • Physically Demanding: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring regular lifting, bending, and manual labor.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Work Term: Permanent: This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular schedule.
  • Work Language: English: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
