About Us

Closer to Home Community Services is a Calgary and Airdrie based not-for-profit agency that delivers a variety of services designed to meet the unique needs of vulnerable children and their families.

About the Position

This is a full-time live-in position for a couple able to provide intensive treatment for six youths in a family home environment. As 'parents', you would be responsible for these youths as you would your own children with days off and vacation time provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model healthy family dynamics and assist youth in daily activities and routines
  • Implement treatment planning and manage crisis and escalations when needed
  • Provide a supportive and nurturing environment for youth to thrive
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in a related field or experience working with vulnerable children and families
  • Valid Alberta Driver's License, adequate insurance, and current Standard First Aid/CPR
  • Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check upon hire
