About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Amicus Health Care Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support with Mobility: Help patients with walking, transferring, and positioning.
  • Assist with Medical Equipment: Clean, sterilize, and assemble medical equipment as needed.
  • Administer First Aid: Provide basic first aid in emergency situations.
  • Transport Patients: Safely transport patients between care facilities and within the facility.
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Serve meal trays, make beds, and maintain patient rooms.
  • Provide Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to patients.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, organized, reliability, team player, and patience.
