Senior Financial Analyst

Become a vital member of our team at Definity as a Senior Financial Analyst, where you will collaborate closely with our Finance department to deliver essential insights and analyses that aid in strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the Controller and working alongside the Specialist in Finance, your role will encompass a variety of financial accounting responsibilities and support functions.

  • Prepare journal entries and perform reconciliations
  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis and identify trends
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures
  • Support accounts payable operations
  • Engage in external audits and process evaluations
  • Contribute to special projects and process enhancements
  • Guide and train junior analysts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
  • 3-5 years of pertinent Finance experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel with strong analytical capabilities
  • Previous experience in financial services, particularly in insurance, is advantageous
