About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Consultant to join our team at Vacances Inter. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients have a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.
Key Responsibilities- Travel Arrangements: Make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing systems.
- Customer Service: Provide customers with travel information and other details such as regulations, duty-free allowances, health risks and requirements, attractions and special events.
- Product Knowledge: Recommend suitable products and investigate new travel areas, hotels, and other amenities.
- Reimbursement and Cancellations: Handle reimbursement in case of transportation and hotel reservations cancellations, and attend to cancellations and schedule changes.
- Marketing and Sales: Use principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general office duties, develop contact lists, and attend to other financial transactions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
- Language: English or French.
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
