Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Longhorn Saloon & Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to improve staff performance.
- Food Quality and Safety
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food meets our standards.
- Implement and maintain a system for tracking and managing food inventory.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work with servers and hosts/hostesses to ensure that customers receive exceptional service.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including sales, inventory, and labor costs.
- Manage kitchen supplies and inventory, including ordering and receiving.
- Develop and implement effective systems for managing kitchen operations.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Physical Demands
- Standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability
- Client focus.
- Efficient interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility.
