Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic Helper to join our team at OK Tire. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting our mechanics with various tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicle maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics with vehicle maintenance and repairs, including moving tools and equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and signaling safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and service tasks, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
Work Environment

As an Automotive Mechanic Helper, you will work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will be expected to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
