Job Summary

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to assist in the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Setting

This position is located in a restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
