Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a General Help and Cashier for a school cafeteria. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Store food in designated areas following proper food safety and rotation procedures.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, adhering to our high standards of customer service.
  • Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements to prevent accidents and maintain a healthy environment.

Requirements

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Good command of the French language to effectively communicate with colleagues and customers.
  • Previous experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare, hotel, restaurant, or fast food setting, is considered an asset.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position, including lifting and moving objects as needed.
