ABOUT THE ROLE

Workland is currently in search of an IT Project Coordinator who is enthusiastic and experienced in IT project coordination to become part of the Customer Experience team. You will be instrumental in assisting our clients during the implementation phase of the recruitment software created by Workland. The ideal candidate should possess a well-rounded set of essential skills and attributes, including expertise in IT project coordination, familiarity with project management technologies and tools, meticulous attention to detail to ensure successful implementations, and strong communication skills to convey critical information.


ROLE SUMMARY

As an IT Project Coordinator focused on the implementation of the ATLAS software, you will be vital in the planning, management, and execution of client projects. You will serve as a key link between the Workland team and clients, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget while adhering to specified requirements and established project frameworks.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and establish clear objectives for system implementation projects;
  • Developing all project initiation requirements in accordance with best practices (scope, team, governance, risks, etc.);
  • Identifying project uncertainties, exploring alternative resource solutions, and anticipating changes in project scope and associated risks;
  • Ensuring projects progress within budget and on schedule, while meeting any specific requirements related to tenders;
  • Applying effective project management methodologies to monitor project status and address potential issues;
  • Coordinating and leading project follow-up meetings with the Workland team and clients to ensure clear communication and alignment with project goals and progress;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and they are regularly updated on project status;
  • Acting as a liaison between the Workland team and the client team, facilitating effective communication and collaboration;
  • Ensuring that all projects comply with tender requirements, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes;
  • Performing all other related tasks.


THE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

  • A Bachelor's degree in administration, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline;
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT project coordination;
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences and interact effectively with the IT team;
  • Good knowledge of leading project management software and tools;
  • Demonstrated rigor in meeting deadlines and maintaining quality;
  • Proven ability to organize time and prioritize tasks to effectively manage multiple projects;
  • Fluency in both French and English (oral and written);
  • Project management certification (an asset).
