Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Provider to join our team at Homecare. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children of various ages in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Supervision
    • Supervise and care for children of various ages, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
    • Assume full household responsibility in the absence of parents, including meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping.
  • Teaching and Development
    • Teach personal hygiene and social development skills to children, promoting their overall well-being and independence.
    • Organize activities and outings that cater to children's interests and developmental needs.
  • Record Keeping and Safety
    • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, health information, and medication administration.
    • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Certifications and Qualifications
    • Hold current certifications in Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR.
    • Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Hold a relevant certification or diploma in early childhood education or a related field.
    • Have previous experience in childcare or a related field, with a strong understanding of child development principles.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Be client-focused, organized, reliable, and patient, with strong interpersonal skills and time management abilities.
