Job Title: Grocery Associate

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grocery Associate to join our team at Otter Co-op. As a Grocery Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and assisting with inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including restocking shelves and sweeping floors
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
  • Process customer transactions and handle cash and credit sales
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit sales
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
